The Cozy Cubby is a relaxation or concentration station to be used in your classroom, clinic or home. This “by yourself space” is specifically designed to filter out irrelevant stimuli and minimize sensory overload. Use it as a quiet, positive place for calming movement, fidgeting and listening.

Sensory exploration is vital to every growing mind and body and is an essential part of any curriculum. Kodo Kids offers several manipulative materials that are great for tactile sensory tables. Jurassic Sand is an incredibly soft and silky, dust-free sand. Its smooth granules feel like silk to the touch. KodoCoco consists of compressed coconut fibers that when soaked in water, expand to create a spongy texture. A great tactile sensory activity is to hide objects in the sand or coco which the children must search for. Kodo Clay is a stain free clay with a smooth and pliable surface.
