Kodo Kids Wins Creative Child Magazine's 2009 Toy of the Year Award
Skinny Spin Chalk Spinner Wins Top Honors in Creative Classroom Play Category
Lafayette, CO-- September 23, 2009 --Kodo Kids is pleased to announce that it has been presented with the 2009 Toy of the Year Award by Creative Child Magazine. “Winning Creative Child’s Toy of the Year Award is a great honor,” said Chris Hume, founder, Kodo Kids. “I’d like to thank Creative Child’s competition judges for recognizing the Chalk Spinner as a unique tool that kids can use to discover and learn through play,” he added.For years, Creative Child Magazine has provided parents with an exceptional resource for finding both educational and fun toys for their children. Creative Child Magazine's Awards Program is unique in that all entries are reviewed by more than 100 mothers and early youth educators. No one person has the final say in judging, and all finalists are handpicked by the very same people who would purchase the product themselves.
Specially selected judges are invited to a private convention center in Nevada, where during a two-day event hundreds of toys, dolls, games, etc., are criticized on their positive value for children. At the competition, reviewers move from product to product filling out evaluation forms at each toy station. Creative Child Magazine's staff collects the forms and tallies up the score at the end.
